Niue language week πŸ‡³πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡³πŸ‡Ί

In this mornings lesson, Me and My class did a kahoot with 20 question's based around Basic facts. After we did that we did a little bit of reading. We were also finding out things about the Niue culture.

For Example: why was the uga crab banded from Niue.

The uga crab was banded from Niue because some of the niueans were taking the uga crab to New Zealand .So then there was a concern that the ugas number were decreasing.

Rm 2 trip to the museum

On Monday the 28th Room 2 went on a trip to the museum. But before we where about to leave we had to head out to the outside of the hall. Then we had to wait for Mrs Thomas to come after that Mrs Thomas just arrived. So then we got ready to go then we all went on a van with 1 van filled up with girls and the other one filled up with boys. So after a long drive to the Auckland War Memorial Museum we finally arrived.

But at first it was kind of boring because the instructor was talking to much but it was very cool because he was giving us some key information about world war 1 and when it ended. So then after the instructor finished talking we separated into our group. and went and explored different areas like going to exploring the volcanoes.Even playing around with the sharks and more other interesting stuff like visiting the dinosaur area.

What i have learned during T1 (Maths)

WALT: Convert a fraction to a Decimal

Success Criteria: Divide the numerator by the denominator
Example: +-×÷

Key points: D(denominator ) N(numerator)
B(brackets) E(exponents) M(multiplication)A (addition) S(subtraction)

Strategy: how to solve a fraction into a decimal.
Fraction: 35/100 so after you've done making your fraction  then count how many zero are in the denominator.after you finish doing that go to the numerator and do this.

so then when you are finish taking your 2 steps you put your decimal dot where you think it goes then you get your answers.

A(answers)35/100= 0.35

Step 1: make your fraction

Step 2: then you divide the numerator by the denominator
